1 1/2 to 2 C freshly ground whole wheat flour (I like red wheat, but use what you like)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 scant teaspoon salt
1 C heavy cream (may need more)
Mix dry ingredients together then add cream. Dough will be stiff.
Knead about 10-12 times, roll out, cut w/biscuit cutter. OR drop them by a large spoon (I use an ice cream scoop).
Bake 10-12 minutes @ 450 on an ungreased cookie sheet.
I love these biscuits. Great for the summer when you want healthy homemade bread, but don’t want to run the oven very long.
