Whipping Cream Biscuits – TWO ingredients

2 C self-rising flour***
1 C whipping cream

Directions
Mix the two ingredients.
Stir w/fork—dough is stiff.
Knead 10-12 times on floured surface. Roll 1/2″ thick & cut into biscuits.
Bake 10-12 minutes on greased cookie sheet @ 450. (I don’t grease my sheet and they don’t stick)

Makes 1 doz.

***Don’t have self-rising flour? Make your own by adding 1 1/2 t. baking powder and 1/2 t. salt per CUP of flour (so 3 t. of baking powder and 1 t. of salt in this recipe)***

Variations:
Garlic Cheddar ala Red Lobster: add 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar and garlic powder to taste. Melt butter, garlic salt, and italian seasoning and drizzle over baked biscuits. Serve hot.

Cinnamon: add scant teaspoon molasses and cinnamon to taste. Make a cinnamon & vanilla glaze and drizzle over baked biscuits. Serve hot.
