Strawberry Pie

A very sweet strawberry pie with a crust that holds up well.

Strawberry Filling:
1 C water
1 C sugar (may use less)
2 T corn syrup
2 T cornstarch
1-3oz pkg strawberry jello
1 Qt strawberries, halve or slice thick

Crust:
1 1/2 C flour
2 T sugar
2 T milk
1/2 t salt
1/2 C oil

Directions
Strawberry Filling:
Combine water, sugar, corn syrup, and cornstarch. Boil until thick and clear. Stir in jello. Cool and add strawberries.

Crust:
Combine all ingredients and pat into 9″ pie plate. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. When cool, add strawberry filling. Top with whipped cream.
