Pumpkin Bars

1/2 C butter, softened
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
2/3 C cooked pumpkin
1 tsp vanilla
1 C flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Whip the butter a bit and cream together w/the brown sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin, and vanilla; mixing well. Meanwhile, mix the dry ingredients, sift if you want to (I usually just mix it up with my hands). Gradually add dry mix to the wet ingredients and mix well.
Spoon batter into a greased 9×13 baking dish and bake at 350 for 15-20 min. Let cool.

Frost with Brown Butter Icing.
