Mid-Summer Italian Bread Salad

1 clove garlic-minced
1-1 lb loaf of Italian bread*
1 C tomatoes, chopped
1 C cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
1 C red onion, chopped fine
2 C fresh basil, chopped
1/8 C fresh thyme
1/4 C olive oil
2 T basalmic vinegar

*Any bread will do, but bread that is a bit stale will hold up better than fresh bread.

Pull apart or chop bread into bite-sized pieces and place in bowl. Add tomato, cucumber, & onion. Mix together well oil, vinegar, garlic, basil, and thyme. Pour over bread mixture. Toss and serve.
