Hot Bean Dip

A very easy appetizer that is a hit every time I make it.

1-8 oz cream cheese
1 jar Black Bean dip or refried black beans
hot sauce like Tabasco (opt.)
shredded cheese (cheddar/jack)
chopped green onion, tomato, olives

Spread cream cheese in bottom of baking dish. Mix the hot sauce into the bean dip and spread onto the cream cheese layer. Cover with cheese. Sprinkle chopped veggies on top. Bake 15-20 min at 350.
Serve w/your favorite tortilla chips, but works better with a thicker corn tortilla chip.

    Alternate Recipe
    1-8 oz cream cheese-softened
    1/2 C salsa
    2 C shredded cheddar
    1 can Bush’s chili beans
    toppings as in above recipe

    Mix cream cheese & salsa; spread in baking dish. Cover with 1/2 C of the cheddar. Spread chili beans next. Cover with remaining cheddar cheese. Add your toppings. Bake 15-20 min at 350.
