Who am I that a King would bleed and die for?
Who am I that He would pray; “Not My will Thine” for?
The answer I may never know why He ever loved me so,
That to an old rugged cross He’d go,
~~ for who am I?
First and foremost, I love my Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ is God and while I may have trouble wrapping my pea brain around the enormity of that concept, I believe it completely. Because He walked this earth some 2000 years ago and died in my place, and conquered death, I am spared an eternal life in hell and will be living eternally with Him. I KNOW what he did for me and I look forward to the day I see my Savior face to face. Salvation is God’s gift and for “whosoever will” If you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior or you’re not sure where your eternal soul will go – ask me!
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:6,7
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I believe the Holy Bible is perfect and I choose to read & study from the KVJ. I believe sin is what the Bible says it is, not what we think it should or should not be.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3: 15,16
I believe He is coming again.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
