A Gospel Song a Day Keeps the Blues Away – Its Still the Blood

If your church doesn’t preach the blood of Jesus Christ, find a church that does, child. “Its still the blood that saves from sin. Its still the blood that cleanses within. Its still the blood of Jesus that brings vict’ry to me.”

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen.

Revelation 1:5,6

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelation 1: 7,8

Its Still the Blood
by Lois Gail

Once I wandered in sin’s black night
And there was no way I could make my wrongs right.
Then that old accuser to the Lord did cry,
He is a sinner and now he must die.

Chorus
And it’s still the blood that saves from sin;
It’s still the blood that cleanses within,
From the highest star in heaven, to the depths of the sea,
It is still the blood of Jesus that brings vict’ry to me.

Then I heard a voice saying, “Father, I’ll go.
I’ll pay his sin-debt in Calv’ry’s flow.
I’ll bear in my body the marks of the cross
To save that child who is sin-sick and lost.”

There are those who rely on the works that they do,
And some men count on the times they pray through.
But when the battle’s over and my last song is sung.
I’ll go home through the blood of my Father’s precious Son.
