Thankful

I am thankful for the month of November.

The haze of summer’s humidity is gone, leaving us with beautiful blue skies.

The heat of summer is over and we are treated to sunny warmness during the days and crispy nights.

The silliness of Halloween is over, but the chocolate remains.

Veteran’s Day is a special day when we remember and are thankful for the self-less service of our finest Americans.

And this lovely, thankful month ends with Thanksgiving when we show our humble gratitude to an Almighty God for His unceasing mercy.

Psalm 106:1
Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 107:1
give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 118:1
give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 118:29
give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:1
give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

My husband and daughter are in Memphis this weekend and said that it has been really beautiful. They are sad to come home to 20 degree cooler temps tomorrow.

I hope they enjoyed their time in Memphis and had some of our fantastic BBQ!
