Facts Are Stubborn Things

And if I read this correctly, facts are bothering the White House. Not their facts but other people’s facts, of course, because we all know that this administration is all about truth and the facts.

From the White House Website.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Disinformation = false information that is intended to mislead, esp. propaganda issued by a government organization to a rival power or the media.
Not to be confused with misinformation, which is unintentionally false.

Is the White House asking for your help to narc on your neighbors if their health reform discussion isn’t lined up with Obama’s rhetoric. Is the White House asking for your help to snoop out bloggers that dare to disagree. Is the White House asking for your help to forward all those emails from your sweet ‘Aunt Bessie’ when she wanted to know more about end-of-life government counselors. So much for “Of the People, By the People, For the People”. Sounds more like Of Comrades, By Bigger Comrades, Screw the People.

Does this not leave a gnawing feeling in your gut? 2012 is too far away for this People!

Do I have to report this???

  2. Elaine says:

It is scary that the White House would come out and say this, what is next for these people?

    Even so Lord, Jesus, COME.
