Missions Conference – Day 4

I have really got to stop eating like this. Oh wait, tomorrow is steak night….one more night of culinary indulgence.

    Southern Fried Chicken
Rotisserie Chicken (out of this world delicious)
    Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans, Italian Beans, Lima Beans, Navy Beans (lots o’beans)
Fresh fruit – cantaloupe, grapes, pineapple
Raw veggies – cucumbers, cherry tomatoes
Desserts galore (including but not limited to–one of the finest coconut cakes I’ve ever sampled & an honest to goodness homemade chocolate cake with a very rich fudge icing)

Brother Whetstone had a beautiful sermon tonite from Isaiah 6. A familiar passage for missions conferences (Isaiah surrenders and says “here am I, send me), but such a fine sermon, I can’t even give it justice.

If the sermon is linked on our website within the next few days, I will post a link here, because it is truly a sermon worth repeating!

1 Response to Missions Conference – Day 4

  1. Elaine says:

Sounds like this has been a truly wonderful week for your church. Both the food and the services sound great and very uplifting (if not good for the waistline 😉 )
