We had tears today during youngest son’s reading lesson. Despite his determined spirit he has struggled with reading and is now making great progress. The last 2 days we have covered 3-consonant blends. He broke down in sobs & tears and said they were so hard and that he wanted to do so good. *can you hear my heart moan?*
After some encouraging words and Philippians 4:13 he plowed through the lesson and did remarkably well. We then discussed how some big kids and adults struggle to read and some of the reasons for this. The look of shock & unbelief on his face when I told him some college kids can’t read!
